SHIPCHEM TEAMS WITH TTTRADE.COM    TTTrade.com, a developer of online exchanges for plastics and chemicals companies, has chosen ShipChem.com, the joint venture third-party logistics provider formed by Eastman Chemical Co. and software maker Global Logistics Technologies Inc., to provide logistics management services to TTTrade.com's clients.
   TTTrade.com claims it can handle all phases of a customer’s plastic resin transactions, including ensuring payment risk/timing, technical service and logistics fulfillment. The agreement with ShipChem will enable TTTrade clients to access global logistics services online.
   “The alliance with ShipChem allows TTTrade.com to enhance the depth and range of services we provide to our clients,” said Steven Landau, chief operating officer of TTTrade.com. “When a deal is transacted, with ShipChem’s logistics expertise, the buyer won’t have to worry about logistics.”
   Using Eastman’s outsourced logistics operation as a base, ShipChem aims to become the leading provider of Web-based logistics services to the plastics and chemicals industry.
