Pilot Freight adds D.C. location

   Pilot Freight Services, a logistics services provider, has opened a station in Washington D.C., adjacent to Washington Dulles International Airport.
   The new location will support Pilot’s existing station in Baltimore, which currently handles all traffic in and out of the D.C. area.
   The D.C. location also marks the second new Pilot station opened this year, following the announcement of its first European station located in Amsterdam.
   “Over the past several years, our business in the D.C. area has grown tremendously, thanks to both government and non-governmental customers,” said Richard Phillips, Pilot’s chief executive officer. “With the addition of the new location, we’ll be able to better serve Washington, as well as the surrounding areas of northern Virginia and portions of south and western Maryland.”
