Emirates received $110 million over last year for A380 delays Airbus has paid Emirates Airlines $110 million in compensation over the past year for delivery delays of A380s the Dubai-based airline has on order.
   Emirates has ordered 58 of the superjumbos, but delays in production have set deliveries back as much as two years.
   Reuters reported Monday that Airbus hopes to deliver 13 of the planes by the end of the year, and Emirates President Tim Clark said he expects five of the planes to be delivered to his airline by March 31, with another 12 by March 2010.
   “It would be a huge blow if there were further delays,” Clark told the news agency. “There are rumors that are starting to rattle” about further delays, he said.
