From Oct. 1, the line will stop accepting such containers in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands for shipments destined for Bulgaria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Croatia, Equatorial Guinea, Georgia, Ghana, the Greek ports of Thessaloniki and Heraklion, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Latvia, Malta, Morocco, Tunisia and Yemen.
Maersk noted that 40-foot and 40-foot high-cube reefer containers will still be accepted.
