LUFTHANSA CARGO PUSHES FULL ELECTRONIC BOOKINGS    Lufthansa Cargo said it would charge shippers five euros per airway bill for express freight booked through “conventional channels,” effective Nov. 1.
   The German airline identifies conventional booking channels as telephone, fax or e-mails to its cargo sales departments or to call centers.
   Under a program called “e for free,” Lufthansa will encourage shippers with td.Flash express shipments to book via GF-X, www.lufthansa-cargo.com or EDI/Traxon for free.
   Lufthansa Cargo said it would also link its “e for free” program to an incentive system. “Once the electronic bookings of a partner reach a certain agreed target value, the entire processing fees will be reimbursed that had been charged on td.Flash bookings via traditional communication channels,” the airline said.
