American Airlines adds nonstop Chicago/Delhi flights American Airlines will introduce daily nonstop flights between Chicago and India’s capital Delhi, effective November.
   The Chicago/Delhi service, subject to government approval, will operate a Boeing 777-200 aircraft. The route of about 7,500 miles will be American’s longest nonstop route. American said Tuesday it has reached an agreement with the Allied Pilots Association, providing additional long-haul flying opportunities for American pilots.
   The tentative schedule for the Chicago/Delhi service has the first flight leaving O’Hare International Airport Nov. 15 at 9:10 p.m. (local time) and arriving Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi 11:05 p.m. (local time plus 1 day).
   The United States and India signed an “open skies” agreement in April to stimulate new passenger and cargo services between the two nations.
   Henry Joyner, American’s senior vice president-planning, said India is one of the fastest-growing international markets for both passenger and cargo traffic.
