Coast Guard will wait on seeking refund The U.S. Coast Guard said it is putting on hold efforts to obtain a $96.1 million refund from Lockheed Martin and Northrop Gruman over problems with patrol boats while the Justice Department and the Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General pursue an investigation of the so-called “Deepwater” project.
   “The Coast Guard has agreed with the Department of Justice and the Inspector General to postpone pursuit of its contractual remedies at this time,” said Rear Adm. Gary Blore at a press briefing at Coast Guard headquarters.
   According to an Associated Press, the Coast Guard may resume its pursuit of the $96.1 million refund depending on the outcome of the Justice investigation.
