Europe funds TEN-T projects

   The European Commission has selected 106 transportation projects across Europe to receive more than 320 million euros as part of the trans-European transport network (TEN-T) Programme Calls.
   Under the 2013 Multi-Annual Programme Call 52 projects received 230 million euros in funding. Of those projects, 10 are part of the European Rail Traffic Management System, while six are classified as air traffic management projects. The largest amount of funding went to 15 Motorways of the Sea projects, which received a total of 78.10 million euros.   
   The 2013 Annual Programme Call provided 90.7 million euros to 54 projects including 27 undertakings involving the implementation of TEN-T work, and 27 projects geared toward promoting infrastructure innovation.
