Software developer integrates supply chain management with Oracle    Emeryville, Calif.-based learning software developer LeapFrog Enterprises Inc. said Tuesday it has completed installation of an Oracle Supply Chain Management system to handle inventory, track products and coordinate procurement practices.
   The integrated system is in sharp contrast to the previous system that LeapFrog described as 'a customized point solution and homegrown management applications.' Increased business volume and an increasingly complex supply chain led to LeapFrog's decision to move to the new Oracle solution.
   Financial details of the transaction were not available.
   Founded in 1995, LeapFrog has developed more than 100 interactive learning software titles and more than 35 standalone educational products for children from birth to 16 years. LeapFrog’s produces products in six languages sold through major retailers in more than 35 countries around the world.
