INTTRA standardizes legal requirement on electronic bills of lading    INTTRA, a global provider of e-commerce services to ocean carriers and their customers, on Sunday announced the approval of a standardized legal agreement required by INTTRA and its carrier members to print images of bills of lading via INTTRA’s Web portal.
   “Until now, customers needed to follow a separate approval process and sign separate legal agreements with each and every carrier in order to enable remote bill of lading printing,” said David Burns, INTTRA product manager for documentation products, in a statement. “It is not unusual for carrier bill of lading print agreements to exceed 30 pages, with each agreement containing different terms and conditions. Customers who work with many different carriers face a daunting task when it comes to remote bill of lading printing.'
   INTTRA said that for more than a year it has been developing a common set of legal terms and conditions to support remote bill of lading printing.
