Doyle named MRA general manager    The Marine Response Alliance has appointed Margaret Kaigh Doyle to general manager, effective May 18.
   MRA is a consortium of emergency towing, lightering, salvage and marine firefighting companies. The limited liability company is comprised of Crowley, Marine Pollution Control, Titan Salvage and Marine Hazard Response, a joint venture of Wild Well Control and Williams Fire and Hazard Control.
   Doyle's focus at MRA will be to lead the compliance team, ensuring full compliance for all vessels naming the MRA in their 1990 Oil Pollution Act vessel response plans and that trade within any of the nine U.S. Coast Guard port zones.
   Doyle has more than 20 years experience in the maritime industry, with the majority of her career focused on representing various industry sectors, including ship owners and operators, government agencies, as well as salvage and firefighting organizations.
Prior to joining MRA, she worked as a senior tanker analyst at Marsoft, a Boston-based maritime consulting firm. Doyle is known for her accomplishments as chemicals manager for the International Association of Independent Tanker Owners (INTERTANKO) as well as serving as executive director of the Chemical Carriers' Association for more than a decade.
