APL will operate 10 ships of 5,500-TEU capacity, three vessels of 4,800-TEU and four of 2,500-TEU on long-term charter.
Four of the 10 vessels of 5,500-TEU will be delivered in 2001, five will be delivered in 2002 and the last one in 2003.
The three 4,800-TEU ships will be delivered this year.
Two of the four 2,500-TEU vessels will be delivered next year, with the final two due to be delivered in 2002.
