Schedules announced for Miami International area road closures

Schedules announced for Miami International area road closures Beginning tonight there will be a series of nighttime road related to LeJeune Road improvements near Miami International Airport.
   The southbound lanes on LeJeune Road between N.W. 25th Street and N.W. 14th Street will be closed from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., through Wednesday, while crews install overhangs on the new bridge.
   All exit ramps from the airport will remain open, but traffic heading south on LeJeune will be diverted to Douglas Road and then back to LeJeune.
   In addition, the LeJeune Road off ramps from SR-836, the main highway that runs along the south side of the airport, will be closed nights for both eastbound and westbound traffic Thursday through Saturday from 10 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. Eastbound traffic will exit at N.W. 45th Avenue, while westbound traffic will exit at N.W. 37th Avenue. Detour routes will direct drivers around the area where roadwork is underway.
