Rickmers-Linie names Aseco as agents for South East Europe

Rickmers-Linie names Aseco as agents for South East Europe Rickmers-Linie, the German specialist breakbulk, heavy-lift and project cargo carrier, has appointed Aseco as its new agent for nine countries in South East Europe.
   Effective May 1, Aseco will represent the Hamburg-based carrier in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia Hercegovina.
   Aseco is part of the Gothenburg, Sweden-based USS United Shipping Services group, which recently took over Transocean Oy Ab, Rickmers-Linie’s agent in Finland.
   “We are pleased to be extending our cooperation with the USS Group, and confident that this will be to the benefit of all our customers and partners in South East Europe,” said Gerhard Janssen, Rickmers-Linie’s general manager, marketing and sales. “We regard this part of Europe as an important and interesting market, with developing ties to areas served by our liner services.”
