CSA elects 2008 officers

CSA elects 2008 officers The Caribbean Shipping Association has elected its officers for the coming year, returning Fernando Rivera of Puerto Rico as president and Carlos Urriola of Panama as vice president.
   One newcomer elected to the general council is Francis Camacho of Guyana, who will be a representative on the Group A slate, which is chaired by Robert Foster of Barbados. Other Group A members include Michael Bernard of Jamaica and Ian Deosaran of Trinidad and Tobago.
   Group B will be chaired by Grantley Stephenson of Jamaica, with David Jean-Marie of Barbados returned as representative.
   Group C, the ship owners group, will again be chaired by Capt. Johan Bjorksten of Hamburg Sud and Cyril Seyjagat of CMA CGM. They are both based in Miami.
