CSX LINES APPOINTS TWO EXECUTIVES

CSX LINES APPOINTS TWO EXECUTIVES    Brian W. Taylor has been named division vice president and general manager-Hawaii-Guam for CSX Lines. Taylor replaces Jack Sutherland, who will retire after 32 years with CSX Lines and predecessor company Sea-Land Service.
   Taylor has been with the company 16 years, holding management positions in sales, marketing and logistics in the United States and Asia, including general manager of Buyers and Shippers Consolidators BSE in Hong Kong.
   Gabriel M. Serra will replace Taylor as division vice president and general manager-Puerto Rico. Serra, who joined Sea-Land as pricing manager, Caribbean in 1990, has been developing CSX Lines’ agency operations in Puerto Rico.
   Charlotte, N.C.-based CSX Lines is the domestic container line subsidiary of CSX Corp.
