Four men in New York and Guyana were arrested more than a week ago in the alleged plot, but over the weekend media outlets in New York said other suspects are being sought.
United Press International quoted David Robinson, the U.S. ambassador to Guyana, as saying FBI agents will travel next week to the nation for follow-up investigations.
