TACA maintains bunker, currency charges The Trans-Atlantic Conference Agreement said bunker and currency adjustment factors will remain unchanged through at least Nov. 15.
   TACA's bunker rates for traffic to, from and via U.S. Atlantic and Gulf coasts ports are $607 per TEU and $1,214 per FEU or 45-foot container, with a weight-measure adjustment of $61.
   Rates for traffic to, from and via U.S. Pacific Coast ports stand at $911 per TEU, $1,822 per FEU or 45-foot container, and weight-measure adjustment of $91.
   The conference's currency adjustment factor will remain unchanged at 10 percent for the same period.
   TACA carriers are Atlantic Container Line, Maersk Line, Mediterranean Shipping Co., NYK Line, and OOCL.
