Catapult launches QMS Lite

   Catapult International announced Monday the release of the newest addition to its suite of online rate-visibility software products. As an extension to Catapult’s rate and quotation management system, Catapult QMS, Catapult stated its QMS LiteTM will provide a clean, simple user interface to retrieve rates, check transit times and book shipping confirmations.
   “Multinational corporations and freight forwarders need an easy to use website for employees, agents and customers to retrieve international shipping quotes online. Using feedback we’ve heard in the marketplace, QMS LiteTM was developed to give users even faster access to accurate rates and other business critical shipping information,” Matt Motsick, chief executive officer of Catapult International, said in a statement.  
   QMS LiteTM will allow the user to view international shipping rate options by cost or transit time, obtain cargo insurance, and book shipments online. Additionally, QMS LiteTM can retrieve ocean and air shipping rates based on the customer’s own negotiated rates and contracts.
