NVO Ocean World Lines picks Management Dynamics software

NVO Ocean World Lines picks Management Dynamics software    Ocean World Lines, a non-vessel-operating common carrier, has contracted with Management Dynamics, a provider of contract management technology, for software to automate pricing operations.
   Ocean World Lines will use Management Dynamic’s Rate Explorer application to reduce operating costs and expand its business with faster, more accurate rate quotes.
   “Rate Explorer … can handle the complexity of our ocean contracts and eliminate the hassles associated with traditional text-based contract management,” said Alan Baer, president of Ocean World Lines.
   In business as a NVO for more than two decades, Ocean World Lines, which ships 80,000 TEUs annually, is a subsidiary of Pacer International Inc.
   Management Dynamics is based in East Rutherford, N.J.
