Brunswick agribulk terminal recovers from fire    The Georgia Ports Authority said Monday the Colonel’s Island agribulk facility at the port of Brunswick is back in operation after experiencing fire damage less than two weeks before.
   The estimated cost of the repairs is $500,000 and the cause of the fire is being investigated, the port authority said.
   “On Jan. 27 a fire damaged a portion of the industrial conveyor belt system used to transfer bulk agricultural commodities to ships,” said Doug J. Marchand, executive director of the port authority. “But after 12 days and nights of hard work by Georgia ports authority staff, our contractors and partners, agribulk service has been fully restored.”
   During the time the agribulk facility was out of service, the port authority continued to receive grain shipments via rail and trucks, and loaded one vessel using a portable radial stacker.
