EMERY WORLDWIDE EXPANDS GOLD PRIORITY GROUND SERVICE    Emery Worldwide has expanded its Gold Priority delivery product to provide ground service to all major North American markets.
   The service, which offers guaranteed delivery, uses the company’s network of 2,400 scheduled line haul trucks operating from nine regional hubs.
   Gold Priority provides door-to-door service with complete tracking and tracing capability, including Web-based accessibility. The ground service covers one-, two- and three-day service, based on distance shipped.
   Emery started Gold Priority last year, when the air cargo freight forwarder began offering shippers 100-percent money-back guaranteed services as part of its basic air freight pricing and product offerings.
   “Our service capabilities will also prove beneficial to import/export shippers for North America,” said Douglas Foster, vice president of sales and marketing. “Linked with our international Gold Priority Express offerings, the ground guaranteed product completes a full range of options for customers.”
   The company’s ground service regional hubs are in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; Charlotte, N.C.; Atlanta; Orlando, Fla.; Nashville, Tenn.; Chicago; Dallas; Los Angeles; and Dayton, Ohio.
