Swiss WorldCargo is the cargo division of Swiss International Air Lines.
'The two companies share a common vision of creating an optimized cargo organization within the Lufthansa Group to operate the air freight business of both Lufthansa Cargo and Swiss WorldCargo,' said the two companies in a joint statement.
Lufthansa was dethroned in 2004 by Korean Air Cargo as the world’s top air freight mover. Lufthansa had occupied the top rank since 1986.
