Somerfield, a food retailer, has signed Exel to a new transportation contract on the northwest of England, using a regional distribution center at Lea Green, near St. Helens.
Everest, a maker of windows and doors used in homes, has extended its logistics contract with Exel, which manages transportation processes for Everest, including front-end scheduling and all associated paperwork.
Exel handles Everest’s operations out of a shared-user distribution center in West Bromwich.
