Crowley and VT Halter Marine jointly designed this series of articulated tug-barge combinations, each tank barge having a capacity of 185,000 barrels.
The new tug was built at Halter's shipyard in Moss Point, Miss., and the barge at Halter's facility in Pascagoula, Miss.
