INTTRA opens three new China offices

INTTRA opens three new China offices Ocean freight Web portal INTTRA said Tuesday it has opened three new offices in China due to significant growth in demand for multicarrier e-commerce.
   The new offices are in Qingdao, Shenzhen and Xiamen. INTTRA, the largest e-commerce platform for the ocean industry, initiates more than 150,000 container orders a week and handles more than $11 billion worth of ocean freight each year, the company said.
   “INTTRA has experienced significant growth in the region over the last year, registering a 260 percent increase in containers processed between the end of 2005 and 2006,” said Bobby Lim, INTTRA’s managing director for the China and Korea region of Parsippany, N.J.-based INTTRA.
