OOCL opens agency office in Pakistan

OOCL opens agency office in Pakistan    Hong Kong-based ocean carrier OOCL today opened its own subsidiary office in Karachi, Pakistan, following the termination of its existing agency agreement with Yaaseen Shipping Lines.
   T.H. Tan has been appointed managing director for OOCL Pakistan (Private) Ltd. (OPPL).
   “The OOCL Pakistan office is part of our extensive enhancement of the whole region,' said S.C. Chan, OOCL’s managing director of the Straits and South West Asia region.
   “With real time connection to OOCL’s renowned integrated global systems, our dedicated OOCL colleagues will serve our customers in Pakistan with our consistent OOCL global service quality. The new office will also enhance our strength in linking the subcontinent and Middle Eastern countries to the rest of the world,” Chan said.
