Hellmann teaming with Kewill for customs technology Miami-based Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Inc. USA has reached an agreement to use Kewill Systems software for its U.S. customs brokerage services.
   Kewill said today in a statement that the system includes comprehensive shipment tracing, exception reporting, document handling, ABI, RLF, reconciliation entry, automatic invoicing capabilities, as well as modules that extend the system to include technologies such as event management, Internet tracking, and document imaging.
   Kewill's products will integrate directly with Hellmann's corporate Hellogic operating system; the first point of data entry for Hellmann's business.
   'Having a Customs integration product is exceptionally vital to what we do,' said Phyllis Dearborn, director of quality for Hellmann. 'For our import processes we needed a solution that would allow us to move shipments efficiently and promptly. We went through a rigorous selection process to find the best overall solution for us and because of Kewill's long established presence, and dedication to customer service, Kewill was a clear choice for Hellmann.'
