The change in hours is the result of tenant requests, a statement from the airport said. The Southwest gate will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Airport officials said they conducted a feasibility study before making a decision on the changes, and determined cargo traffic at the southwest gate warranted the extended hours.
A statement from the airport said that in order to accommodate the extended hours at the southwest gate, the hours at the northwest gate would be reduced to Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
