Zim leaves U.S. East Coast/Brazil joint service    Zim Integrated Shipping Services has withdrawn as a vessel provider on the joint U.S. East Coast/East Coast South America East Coast Americas Service with Hanjin Shipping, “K” Line and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.
   To counter the loss of Zim, the remaining carriers have ended calls at Port Everglades, Kingston and Puerto Cabello so that the service can retain its weekly sailing frequency with five ships instead of six.
   The service now uses five vessels averaging 1,564 TEUs and has a revised port rotation of New York, Norfolk, Savannah, Rio Grande, Itajai, Santos and back to New York.
