The China-Mediterranean Express Service-CMX will use seven 4,000-TEU ships, with Hanjin proving four vessels, “K” Line two vessels and Yang Ming one vessel respectively.
The port rotation of CMX will be: Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Said, Naples, La Spezia, Barcelona, Port Kelang, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung and back to Shanghai.
According to ComPair Data, the global liner-shipping database at https://www.compairdata.com , the CMX service will be the sixth weekly Asia/Mediterranean service operated by the CKYH alliance.
At the same time, Hanjin said that in November it will rename its weekly Asia/Mediterranean/Middle East EMA service into the Mediterranean Express. Hanjin said that the new MEX service will make changes to the previous ports of call in Italy on the EMA service, and also add Yantian and Genoa to the rotation.
