Logistically to use SMC3 rate, transit time tools

Cloud-based TMS provider Logistically will integrate the less-than-truckload (LTL) technology provider SMC3’s RateWare XL and CarrierConnect XL products for its broker and shipper users.    The cloud-based transportation management system (TMS) provider Logistically has integrated less-than-truckload (LTL) rating and transit time tools from SMC3 into its platform, according to a statement from Logistically.
   The Green Bay, Wis.-based technology company will use SMC3’s RateWare XL and CarrierConnect XL products to enable its customers to obtain rates and audit their LTL pricing. The solution supports both National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) and density rating, and allows for creative rate structures to be added to custom rating modules that wouldn’t otherwise be available, the companies said.
   SMC3’s CarrierConnectXL provides transit time information on LTL shipments.
   Logistically provides TMS solutions to the broker, third-party logistics (3PL), and shipper markets.
