SAVI OFFERS APPLICATION TO MANAGE EQUIPMENT    Savi Technology has released Savi Asset Management, an enterprise-level application that maximizes utilization of reusable conveyances and logistics support equipment.
   The software manages and secures supply chain assets — including conveyances such as pallets, totes, unit loading devices, rail cars, trailers, and intermodal containers, as well as the support equipment used in packing, loading, and moving cargo.
   Savi said its Asset Management software and SmartChain real-time data collection software platform will be used by CHEP as the basis of a global asset identification and management system.
   Based in Sunnyvale Calif., Savi Technology provides real-time supply chain asset management and collaboration software.
