Phoenix International expands Miami office scope Wood Dale, Ill.-based Phoenix International Freight Services Ltd., a privately-owned international freight forwarder, customs broker and non-vessel-operating common carrier, is expanding the portfolio of its branch office in Miami to offer logistics solutions and transshipment services for worldwide cargo to and from the Caribbean, Central and South America.
   “More than 9 million tons of cargo and 1 million containers pass through Miami each year,” said Jack Fleischman, Phoenix’s Southeast regional manager. “Our Phoenix-Miami branch will be the direct link between our offices in the U.S., Asia, South Asia and Europe with businesses in the Caribbean, Central and South America.”
   Phoenix International has 71 offices worldwide and annual sales exceeding $720 million.
