Hong Kong air cargo continues to boom    The latest figures from Hong Kong indicate the resurgence of the air freight sector is still going strong after nine months.
   Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals, the primary cargo handling facility at Hong Kong International Airport, reported Monday that July tonnage increased 27.7 percent to 256,838 tons in July versus a year ago. Volume is up 36.7 percent to 1.65 million tons during the first seven months of the year.
   Export volume in July was up 35.5 percent to 140,030 tons and import volume increased 22.5 percent to 67,952 tons. Year-to-date, exports are up 44.6 percent to 892,852 tons and imports are up 33.2 percent to 434,113 tons.
   Transshipment volume in July increased 15.3 percent, the company said.
