The office will be led by Oliver Gritz, who joined Southern Air in April as managing director for Europe. He previously held various management positions with DHL Express, including executive vice president, board member and chief financial officer.
Southern Air operates a fleet of 13 Boeing 747 and two new B777 freighters and is the first ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance) operator to operate the new B777 freighter.
