TRANSPORTATION.COM APPOINTS EXECUTIVE TEAM

TRANSPORTATION.COM APPOINTS EXECUTIVE TEAM    Transportation.com an online marketplace for shippers, carriers and private fleet operations, has appointed six transportation industry executives.
   The company is a joint venture between Yellow Corp. and venture capital firms TL Ventures and EnerTech Capital Partners.
   Rich Hardt has been named senior vice president of technology, responsible for development of strategic partnerships and alliances, technology design and product innovation. He was director of systems development for Yellow Technologies, a division of Yellow Corp.
   Daniel Bentzinger, has been named senior vice president of information. He was chief information officer for the Kansas City Southern Railway.
   Michael McMillian is senior vice president of growth. He was an equity partner in Fresh Start Bakeries where he served as executive vice president of logistics and customer support.
   Gerald Brockman is senior vice president of finance. He has more than five years experience in mergers and acquisitions with Wall Street investment firms including Arthur Young & Co. and L.F. Rothschild. He also worked for more than 10 years with Northwest Airlines, where he moved up from senior financial analyst to director of customer services strategic planning.
   John Morris is senior vice president of marketing and communications. He spent 13 years in marketing and management at Nielsen Media Research.
   Alex Miskov is senior vice president of solutions. His experience includes more than 17 years with General Electric Corp. where he served as global program manager.
