Port of Mobile names three executives

Port of Mobile names three executives Alabama State Port Authority has added two vice presidents and a new risk manager.
   James K. Lyons, port director and chief executive officer, said the appointments were made to meet expanding administration as revenues increase and facilities have been added or expanded.
   Linda Paaymans was named vice president of finance. Paaymans served eight years in a number of management positions at Holcim (US) Inc., one of the world’s largest portland and blended cement manufacturers.
   Judith Adams, economic development and public affairs manager since January 2003, has been named vice president of marketing. She has 14 years of service with the port serving in a number of marketing, operations and project management functions.
   Kevin Malpas has been named risk manager, replacing Faye Carter who retires April 30. He has more than 16 years of experience in marketing, project management and financial portfolio management within the maritime and insurance industries.
