Total operating revenue for the first quarter was $1.17 billion, compared with $1 billion for the first quarter of 2011.
Hunt said all four segments of its business contributed to the increase in operating revenue in the first quarter of 2012, compared to the same period the year before, including:
- Intermodal – Load growth of 16 percent led to a 20 percent rise in revenue to $694 million.
- Dedicated contract services – $256 million, up 7 percent.
- Truck – $128 million, up 8 percent.
- Intergrated capacity solutions – $97 million, up 30 percent.
