Izykowski named manager of grounded services for Aeronet

Izykowski named manager of grounded services for Aeronet Irvine-based logistics firm Aeronet said Thursday that Richard Izykowski has been named to the newly created position of manager of ground services.
   A 25-year veteran of the transportation industry, Izykowski joined Aeronet in 2003 where he has held various positions including truckload manager, business development manager and most recently, operations manager. In his new position, he will manage Aeronet's national cartage agent system to optimize the firm's service levels and mitigate transportation costs.
   Celebrating its silver anniversary, Aeronet has grown since its founding in 1982 to more than 600 offices and partners located throughout the United States and in 75 countries worldwide.
