Carriers add 13th ship to round-the-world service    China Shipping Container Lines, Gold Star Line, Norasia Container Lines and Zim Integrated Shipping Services have added a 13th ship to their joint weekly Asia/Middle East/Indian subcontinent/Europe/U.S. East Coast/U.S. West Coast/Asia “Round the World” service.
   The additional 3,100-TEU vessel will be operated by Norasia, its ninth ship on the service, and is aimed at improving schedule reliability in face of port congestion on the U.S. West Coast.
   The “Round the World” service will now operate with 13 ships of about 3,000 TEUs and calls at Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Shekou, Singapore, Port Kelang, Jebel Ali, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Tuticorin, Colombo, Damietta, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Hamburg, New York, Norfolk, Charleston, Kingston, Los Angeles and back to Shanghai.
