ALK expands PC*MILER to load and rate boards

   Transportation and brokerage software provider TransCore DAT has integrated PC*MILLER as its primary mileage, routing, and mapping solution for its load boards, truckload rate index, and other services, the companies said.
   The integration of ALK Technologies’ PC*MILLER has gone live and is already available to DAT customers.
   David Schrader, senior vice president of operations at TransCore DAT, said the pairing will be a strong offering for their customers since PC*MILLER is popular and the two were able to tightly integrate its full services across the DAT product line.
   “The integration of PC*MILER Web Services is an excellent fit for our mutual customers who are automatically provided with the most up-to-date directions and mileage,” said Craig Fiander, ALK’s Enterprise Solutions vice president of marketing for North America.
   TransCore DAT serves brokers, carriers, owner-operators, and shippers with services ranging from transportation and brokerage software to fleet compliance and insurance monitoring platforms. Navigation software provider ALK Technologies develops services for transportation, logistics, mobile workforces, and consumers with a focus on products like its CoPilot Live GPS tracking software.
