Chemical industry honors APL Logistics in Jacksonville The American Chemical Council recently recognized Singapore-based APL Logistics for its safety and environmental responsibility in freight management.
   The organization recognized APL Logistics' Jacksonville, Fla. Freight Management office after the company passed an independent audit of its Responbile Care Management System. The audit assesses a company's policies, procedures and performance for chemical handling.
   APL Logistics manages ocean, rail and truck transportation for the world's leading chemical manufacturers.
