PORT OF IMMINGHAM ADDS MOBILE HARBOR CRANES    The Port of Immingham has taken delivery of two new 100-ton capacity mobile harbor cranes, costing more than '1 million each ($1.5 million), from Gottwald Demag, the German crane manufacturer.
   The new cranes are being assembled on the quayside at Immingham, were purchased by Associated British Ports to serve the port's Hydro and Mineral Quays, although they have the flexibility to move to other ports.
   The purchase is part of the port's program to replace fixed quayside cranes with more versatile and efficient mobile cranes.
   'The versatility o the three Gottswald Demag mobile harbor cranes purchased in early 2000 for Immingham's deepwater terminal, Humber International Terminal, persuaded us to continue to replace fixed quayside cranes with multipurpose mobile cranes,' said John Copping, port director, ABP Grimsby & Immingham.
