The facility has 135,000 square feet of space, 24 dock doors and a high-speed, automated Elevated Transfer Vehicle handling system with storage capacity for 385 upper-deck containers. The handling system features six doors for processing bulk cargo, allowing it to bypass the regular freight handling activities. It moves units at a rate of 60 feet per minute.
Other features of the facility include three coolers for perishable items, an environmental room and a live-animal handling area.
