AA extends heavyweight product to Europe

AA extends heavyweight product to Europe    American Airlines Cargo Division said Thursday it is expanding its Priority Parcel Service Heavyweight product for shipments between the United States and Europe.
   PPS Heavyweight was introduced in November 2008, providing a per-piece weight limit increase from 32 to 46 kilograms (70 to 100 pounds) for service within the United States, including San Juan, Puerto Rico.
   The 30-year-old Priority Parcel Service product allows shippers same-day counter-to-counter service throughout the United States and many parts of the world. Available through American's ticket counters, cargo terminals and designated PPS facilities, the product offers flight-specific shipping and highest boarding priority, with no advanced booking required, the airline said.
