AA extends priority service to Europe
American Airlines Cargo said Friday it has expanded its Priority Parcel Service Heavyweight product for shipments between the United States and Europe.
PPS Heavyweight was introduced in November 2008, providing a per-piece weight limit increase from 32 to 46 kilograms (70 to 100 pounds) for service within the United States including San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The three-decade-old PPS product is a same-day counter-to-counter service, available through American's ticket counters, cargo terminals and designated PPS facilities. It offers flight-specific shipping and highest boarding priority, with no advanced booking required.
