ABC lands second B747-8 freighter

   AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC), Russia’s largest cargo airline and part of the Volga-Dnepr Group, has taken delivery of its second Boeing 747-8 freighter.
   The new plane will be used on ABC’s route network linking Europe, Asia and the United States with its hubs in Moscow. ABC took delivery of its first B747-8 in January, as part of an order for five such aircraft. The airline also has options for five more of these planes.
   “The introduction of another new freighter will benefit both our company and our customers, who will appreciate the additional features of the airplane,” said Tatyana Arslanova, ABC’s executive president, in a statement.
   With the delivery of the new B747-8 freighter, ABC’s fleet totals 12 B747 freighters.
