ABF promotes three execs
National motor carrier ABF Freight System promoted Chris Baltz, Wes Kemp and Roy Slagle to senior vice president.
Baltz was named senior vice president yield management and strategic development, responsible for pricing, marketing and specialized supply chain services. Prior to his current position, vice president of marketing and pricing, he headed ABF’s marketing and public relations department.
Kemp, vice president of terminal operations, was promoted to senior vice president of operations.
ABF, Fort Smith, Ark., appointed Slagle senior vice president sales and marketing. He is vice president of administration and treasurer.
The appointments are effective Feb. 1.
