ACC Capital Partners buys Envirotainer

   ACC Capital Partners, a northern European mid-market buyout firm, has acquired a majority stake in Envirotainer, a developer and provider of temperature-controlled air cargo containers for the pharmaceuticals industry.

   ACC Capital acquired the shares from Industrifonden and a number of private investors. Envirotainer's management team will be investing alongside AAC. Other details of the deal were not disclosed.

   Based in Lagga, Sweden, Envirotainer's business covers the major trade routes for biological pharmaceuticals, with service hubs in 26 countries and sales of about 31 million euros.

   'We see significant growth in the biological pharmaceuticals industry and believe that there is a concurrent growing need for temperature-controlled transport going forward,' said David Holm-Ovren, partner at ACC Capital Partners, in a statement Tuesday.
